In short

Your images never leave your machine. There is no tracking, there are no cookies, no accounts and no third party services. Visiting the site creates the technically necessary server data, nothing else.

Processing of your images

The tool works entirely inside your browser. The image is read locally, computed locally and the export file is created locally. There is no endpoint that accepts an image and no storage location outside your device.

No personal data related to your images is therefore transmitted to me. Once you close the tab, the image is gone from memory.

Hosting and server log files

The site runs on a server operated by netcup GmbH in Germany, which processes the data on my behalf.

On every request the web server writes a log entry. It contains the IP address, date and time, the requested address, the status code, the amount of data transferred as well as the referring page and the browser identification, if the browser sends them.

The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the site. Log files are deleted automatically after 14 days.

No tracking, no cookies

No analytics services, tracking pixels or ad networks are used and no cookies are set. The site loads nothing from third party servers either, no fonts, no scripts, no images. A consent banner is therefore neither required nor present.

Local storage in the browser

So the interface behaves the way you left it, the tool keeps three values in your browser local storage:

• the choice between the light and the dark appearance
• the settings presets you saved yourself
• the language you last selected

These values stay on your device and are never sent to a server. They are required for the function you asked for, so under section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG no consent is needed. You can delete them at any time through your browser settings.

Contact by email

If you write to me, I process your details in order to answer. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Once the matter is settled and no retention duty applies, I delete the message.

Sharing with third parties

Your data is not shared with third parties. The only party involved is the hosting provider named above, which processes data on instruction in order to run the server.

Your rights

Within the legal requirements you have the following rights:

• access to the data stored about you, Article 15 GDPR
• rectification of incorrect data, Article 16 GDPR
• erasure, Article 17 GDPR
• restriction of processing, Article 18 GDPR
• objection to the processing, Article 21 GDPR

Use the email address above to exercise them. Independently of that you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, either the one of your federal state or the one responsible for my place of residence.

Changes to this notice

If something about the site changes, I update this notice. The version published here with the date given above is the one that applies.
